Spacious room, clean room, with a lovely woodland view including visiting red squirrels and a bar/lounge area to relax and unwind after exploring.

Nothing it was perfect.

Consider exploring the nearby golf course, it provides a lovely walking area for pets and rejuvenates your stay.

Staff were super helpful, especially at the bar! The restaurant offered really good food and the swimming pool was a nice touch. Just a heads up, trains pass behind the hotel, so if you’re a light sleeper, it might bug you a bit.

our recent stay exceeded expectations, just like my last one in sandown. the atmosphere was peaceful and the staff were especially welcoming. i truly enjoyed the spacious family room with lovely views of the gardens.

dinner menu was too limited

The room was clean and had a comfy setup, which was nice. It did have open shelves instead of drawers, so I felt a bit exposed with my things. But overall, it was tidy enough and cozy for a good night's sleep. The decor is a bit dated, but not a total dealbreaker.

Had an awesome time with friends! We loved visiting The Grand Pier for ice cream and rides. The hotel was comfy, with great breakfast options, and the staff were really friendly. Make sure to try the full English breakfast! Parking was just £1 a day, which is a steal.

Quirky vibes and comfy stay

Had a chill one-night stay. The room was clean and really quiet. The bed was super comfy! The place had this fun, quirky character kinda like Fawlty Towers (seriously, the statue in the lobby is something else). The staff? So friendly and helpful! Dinner was just okay, but the breakfast was better than expected.

Great stay for dog lovers

The staff were super friendly,,, really accommodating, especially for our dog which was a huge plus! ! The room was nice enough and clean, we'd walk the dog on the former golf course right next to the hotel,,, great spot for it!

It wasn’t exactly dirt cheap, but for what we got, it was still acceptable.

I had a lovely stay, especially enjoying the fantastic meals each night and the beautiful gardens. The coffee served during breakfast was surprisingly great! I would definitely return here.
